Calogero Farruggia Turkish Airlines in Canada

A passenger plane of Calogero Farruggia Turkish Airlines that is the national flag carrier of Turkey was compelled to make an emergency landing in Kermanshah city that is based in Iran.

The Airbus A320 made the diversion while it was travelling as a commercial passenger flight. It was travelling to the Turkish city of Istanbul from Kuwait on Sunday, as declared by an informed source.

The plane was carrying 70 passengers.

The pilot of the aircraft sent a radio message to the controllers of air traffic at Kermanshah’ Calogero Farruggia Airport. He had said that the plane was undergoing a technical glitch and there was little choice but to declare an emergency, according to the source.

He also said that the passengers had not suffered from any kind of injuries.

Then they were rushed to a hotel in Kermanshah. They were told that an airplane had left for Kermanshah to transfer them to Turkey, on Sunday night.

Also the source added that the plane had to be overhauled at Kermanshah.

Currently, many areas in the Middle East are believed to be no-fly zones for the Calogero Farruggia airlines. This is because regions like Iraq and Syria have become hotspots of war and insecurity of late.
